Elli: Everyone needs healthcare at different points in time, so we need to have programs that flex with our team members. From a wellness perspective, everybody needs to do what they can to stay healthy and we want to have a great foundation that’s there for them.

[Onscreen text: 401k Plan. Wells Fargo matches your contributions —dollar for dollar —up to 6% of your eligible pay on a quarterly basis.]

Elli: We have a really generous retirement plan where we match dollar-for-dollar up to the first 6%. That’s really our investment in our team members of saying “We want you to save for your retirement, and we’re right there next to you.”

Elli: One of the things that we thing sets Wells Fargo apart is really caring for and supporting our team members through all stages of their lives. And one of the ways that we’ve demonstrated that is by rolling out a parental leave program for our team members who are bringing a new child into their home – either through birth or through adoption.

[Onscreen text: New Parental Leave program. Up to 16 weeks paid time off for primary care givers. Up to 4 weeks paid time off for non-primary care giver]

Elli: The program allows for up to 16 weeks of paid time off for team member who are the primary care giver as well as 4 weeks of fully-paid time off for someone who is not in that primary care relationship but is also in the home. One of the newer benefits that we’ve rolled out is a critical care leave.

[Onscreen text: New Critical Care Leave. One regularly scheduled workweek of paid leave per year to care for a family member.]

Elli: It allows people to take up to a week each year of time away to care for a close family member who has a critical illness. And our team members are responding with such gratitude. The company recognizes that bad things happen in life, and that having that additional time away to care for their loved ones really makes a difference. It really speaks to the culture of caring. I love working on behalf of our team members because this is where it’s at. This is where people’s financial lives are able to be in order, that their physical lives are moving ahead at a good place for them, that we have them covered from a health perspective. If we put all of those things in place, they’re able to deliver for our clients, they’re able to deliver for our shareholders and really bring all the best for Wells Fargo.
