Phone Banker

In this fast-paced role, you’ll use your service and communication skills to help resolve our customers’ concerns and offer products that meet their ongoing financial needs. On our team, you’ll discover opportunities for professional development and gain valuable skills that will launch your career at Wells Fargo.

A Day in the Life

As a phone banker, you have the opportunity to interact with customers. This role begins with an excellent paid training program to get you up-to-speed on our banking products, services, systems, and procedures. On any given day, you can expect to:

  • Use your banking product knowledge to expand customer relationships
  • Handle incoming calls from our customers
  • Solve complex problems with multiple software programs
  • Be a part of a team that thrives on ensuring top-notch customer service

And rarely a day goes by without recognition from your manager, peers, and business partners. Your team might enjoy a pizza lunch for providing excellent customer service or you might receive balloons to celebrate a personal success. You’ll hear “thank you” and “great job” a lot, giving you a strong sense of accomplishment. You will know you’re part of a winning team and a winning company.


Play an essential role in finding the right solutions for customers. Personal Banker

It’s satisfying to build relationships with customers and help meet their financial needs. And as you build your customer relationships, you’ll also be working toward your professional goals within Wells Fargo.

A Day in the Life

You’ll devote as much of your day as possible to having in-depth conversations, in person and by phone, with your customers. Your day will include:

  • Building and managing lifelong customer relationships
  • Understanding customers’ financial needs and showing them how to get the greatest possible value from our products and services
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with our partners

You’ll feel strong support on our team, with your manager regularly celebrating your hard work and success, recognizing and rewarding your contributions and providing value-added coaching.

Branch Manager

Ready to serve as the face of Wells Fargo in the community? As an expert in the branch, you’ll show your in-depth knowledge about products and systems, and coach your team to success.

A Day in the Life

As a Branch Manager, you will play an essential role in placing the customer at the center of everything we do. Your day will consist of activities such as:

  • Leading a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of caring, developing branch team members, and helping support your community
  • Building trust by listening to customers and providing vital recommendations to help them succeed financially
  • Fostering a strong team environment, celebrating your team’s hard work and successes, and providing value-added coaching

Inbound Sales

You’ll engage customers by phone with information and suggestions for new financial products and services. At Wells Fargo, customer service is our top priority and is the basis for rewarding you for the good work you do.

A Day in the Life

You will spend your day providing excellent service to our customers by offering new products and services to help them succeed financially. Your activities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional service by going out of the way to please each customer
  • Quickly answering questions in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Using your banking product knowledge to expand customer relationships

Premier Banker

As a Wells Fargo Premier Banker, you are a trusted professional to our affluent customers and a respected partner to many financial professionals across the company. You will be based in a Wells Fargo branch in an affluent-identified market and will work closely with your branch manager, Wealth Brokerage Services Financial Advisor, a dedicated affluent segment leader, and the rest of the branch-based team. This team approach is critical to serving our affluent customers, and keeping their needs at the center of everything we do.

A Day in the Life

Key elements of the Premier Banker role include:

  • Interacting with larger and more complex customer relationships
  • Serving as your customers' relationship manager to uncover their specific financial needs and goals, and making appropriate introductions to Business Banking, Wealth Management, Private Mortgage Banking, and other partners
  • Demonstrating leadership by contributing to a company culture of caring that supports customers in achieving their goals
