As a Pricing Consultant you will partner with Commercial Banking’s pricing, profitability, and capital management teams to guide pricing decisions to align with overall product and company goals. This is an opportunity to work directly with the Head of Pricing, Profitability and Capital Management to transform our approach and assist in identifying profitable growth opportunities. In this role, you will:

  • Assist in the development of a pricing strategy
  • Evaluate price structures and value realization
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques, advance data from multiple sources, and mathematics behind data analysis across the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, and coordination of highly complex activities
  • Respond to pricing-related questions raised by sales teams and other internal team members
  • Establish baselines for strategies and tracks actual performance to expectations
  • Develop customized reports, ad hoc analyses, or data visualizations to make recommendations to senior management, executive committees and sales teams
  • Apply predictive models, third party data, and other data/tools to develop and execute appropriate strategies to provide insight into the portfolio and to identify pricing and growth opportunities
  • Work with business, credit, data, and model development partners to design, develop, and monitor test designs and analytical reporting to track and enhance strategies
  • Perform analysis of findings and trends using statistical or financial analysis, modeling, process documentation, profitability analysis, customer, or demographic analysis
  • Recommend solutions to increase revenue, reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency, quality, and compliance
  • Design and implement database structures or software tools in support of effective data sourcing strategies
  • Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies
  • Partner with technology or with other business groups
  • Design and lead complex projects, analyses, and application of techniques across the enterprise
  • Engage with peers, managers risk, compliance, managers across the enterprise, and serve as an expert advisor to leadership team


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Analytics and Reporting, Financial Modeling, Statistics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Ability to synthesize disparate information into a cohesive strategy
  • Outstanding problem solving and analysis skills, combined with solid business judgement and ability to organize, build and present business cases
  • Ability to work independently while prioritizing and handling multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience working strategic initiatives and the ability to work cross-functionally across our businesses, finance and other relevant teams
  • Demonstrated focus on quality and customer needs
  • Soft skills to work through sensitive business problems and change management
  • Can use sound judgment to resolve short-term problems in a timely manner
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
  • Base knowledge of various Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking lending products or prior working developing pricing strategies/frameworks is a plus

NY - New York -$115,900-$206,100 annual

Salary range is determined by location of the job. May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights, or other long-term incentive awards.

$96,600.00 - $171,800.00 Annual
