Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant to join the Strategy, Digital, and Innovation team.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems

  • Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements

  • Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems

  • Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions

  • Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes

  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables

  • Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams

  • Performs analysis of complex business requirements/user stories and executing UAT test cases

  • Partners closely with the scrum team to develop test strategies, end to end (integration) strategies and acceptance criteria

  • Partners with Automation and Performance testing teams while also participating in ongoing automated performance benchmarking activities that ensure good user experience

  • Develop Automation test scripts based on Epic definition and feature design while collaborating with scrum team member to develop and execute both manual and automated test scripts while adhering to best practices and the Wells Fargo Framework.

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CRF 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

Required Qu alifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of HP ALM experience

  • 2+ years of Jira experience

  • 2+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools

  • 2+ years of Agile experience

  • Technical skills: - Selenium - Java / .NET (C#, VB - Java Script- SQL - JUNIT / NUNIT - Agile Testing - Jenkins - Maven / Gradle

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understanding of testing methodologies, deliverables and familiarization with the SDLC

  • 2+ years of experience in a Test Lead role

  • Mobile/Web and Native app. experience

  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering or similar discipline; supported by experience in a similar technical environment

Job Expectations:

  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship

  • This position is a hybrid work model and will not be a telecommute position, must be willing to work out of Charlotte, NC or Saint Louis, MO approximately 3 days a week
