Senior Technology Business Services Consultant - SDLC

About this role:

Wells Fargo SDLC is seeking a Senior Technology Business Services Consultant.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead all work related to policy updates including drafting and publication of policy, procedures, and controls in partnership with enterprise policy teams, SDLC, control owners and other key stakeholders
  • Create and maintain backlog for policy update requests related to SDLC policy, process and control changes
  • Review other policies to look for potential impacts and overlaps with the SDLC Policy
  • Maintain SDLC control inventory
  • Draft the language of new enterprise controls consistent with enterprise risk expectations and governing frameworks including COBIT; NIST; CSA; ITIL
  • Review proposed changes to controls to ensure compliance with enterprise risk expectations (FLOD, SLOD, Audit)
  • Implement technical initiatives for enterprise governance impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of experience working in an SDLC background (knowledge of development methodologies including Agile, testing practices and DevOps)


Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience working on a software development team
  • 4 + years with experience writing technical documentation and guidelines
  • 4+ years of experience with governing frameworks and enterprise control requirements including COBIT; NIST; CSA; ITIL
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to develop metrics related to SDLC controls
  • Experience using JIRA platform
  • Ability to create accurate and concise technical documentation

Pay Range

$84,000.00 - $149,400.00 Annual
