About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Facility Engineering Senior Manager - Commercial Office Portfolio to direct oversight for property engineering strategy, standards, service delivery models, technical programs and code compliance for the office portfolio in the U.S. and International portfolio.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and/or managers in roles with moderate complexity and risk engineering design and operation aspect of a facility’s critical systems and equipment

  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with the function or affected by its outcomes

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for responding to design shortcomings, operational challenges and emergency situations

  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of the team to meet design deliverables of operational practices both in new construction/development as well as existing properties

  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for implementation and adherence to all critical facility platforms and audit readiness

  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior managers

  • Interact directly with internal and external customers

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in engineering design and operations

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 6+ years of facility engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of management experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge and understanding of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems, building controls and associated technologies

  • Strong background in commercial building operations, mechanical, electrical systems design review, layout, and installation, including ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical designs

  • Knowledge of critical facilities systems infrastructure and operation

  • Experience developing life cycle asset management programs including execution of large-scale asset preservation plans

  • Understanding of leases, contracts and related documents

  • Experience managing a multi-site/multi regional asset portfolio

  • Ability to effectively interact with Business and Corporate Leaders

  • Strong organizational skills and collaborative management style

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time - domestic and international

  • Must be located in Charlotte, NC
