Technology Business Manager (AVP/VP)

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Business Manager within International Technology Business Services team to support Technology functions in APAC and International locations


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and drive highly complex projects related to budget, business planning, risk-related items, regulatory items, reporting in the region (presentations, speeches), and implementation of policies, standards, processes and/or strategic projects
  • Partner closely with International Technology Business Services team members based in APAC, EMEA and Canada and Latin America to support International Technology initiatives and strategy execution
  • Interact with key partners across Technology, Finance, Front Office Business, Portfolio Governance, HR and IT Procurement. 
  • Proactively track and measure the performance of the  function in delivering the strategic agenda, identify gaps and actions required to deliver the agenda
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives designed to drive efficiency
  • Ensure service quality and cost effectiveness of solutions
  • Work with leadership team to implement and enforce policies, standards and processes that require in-depth knowledge of business or function roles and organization design
  • Develop analysis and metrics, balanced scorecards on various topics
  • Assist and lead to help launch new initiatives including communication, employee engagement, internal marketing and projects both regionally and globally
  • Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
  • Manage ad-hoc requests to meet business needs


Required Qualifications, International:

  • 10+ years experience in Information Technology in support of Business Management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years experience in financial analysis, strategy, Statistics background preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical-related discipline
  • Strong communicator who is extremely organized
  • Highly motivated and self-starter

  • Strong analytics and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and synthesize large volume of information and summarize in a clear and concise manner for EMT-level materials
  • Strong Budgeting experience with data modelling capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize whilst working to tight timeframes
  • Advanced Excel knowledge (Macros, VB, automation)
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills (Graphics, design, creative vision, tables, trend graphs, charts)
  • Ability to represent complex data in a simple, easy to understand, visually appealing manger
  • Have strong aptitude for both logical and creative thinking
  • Have hands-on approach to work and 'can-do' attitude to start and finish ideas execution
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a reputation for producing consistent, clear, high quality and reliable outputs
  • Great communicator and interpersonal skills
  • Highly collaborative and able to effectively navigate organisation boundaries
  • Team player able to work with teams across geographies and time zones
  • Flexible and responsive nature to handle changing priorities
