In this role, you will:

  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines.
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs.
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

Required Qualifications, International:

  • Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 8-12 yrs. of hands-on IT experience in defining, developing and implementing complex applications using latest BI, ETL & Database technologies and worked in Agile teams.
  • Should have work experience in Informatica and Power BI (Microsoft tool).
  • Design and develop Power BI user interface objects (e.g. reports, dashboards, etc.).
  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of complex business problems.
  • Expert in designing complex reports like reports using Cascading parameters, Drill-Through Reports, Parameterized Reports and Report Models and ad-hoc reports.
  • Extensive experience in Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) data from various sources like Oracle, SQL Server and Flat File into Data warehouse using Informatica.
  • Proficient in using various control flow and data flow elements like Each Loop and Sequence Container, Execute SQL Task, Execute Process Task, Execute Package Task, File System Task, Derived column, Condition split, Multi-cast, Merge, etc.
  • Exposure to ETL migration projects like from DataStage to Informatica.
  • Production support and monitoring experience. Maintaining/monitoring batch jobs.
  • Should be able to deploy the application in non-production environments on Windows/Linux platforms.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Should be detail oriented, able to multitask.
  • Exposure to banking domain is a plus.

Job Expectations:

  • Works with diverse group of developers, business subject matter experts, project management from multiple teams with assertiveness and tact.
  • Contributes to the front end and backend application design, development, testing and release activities.
  • Ability to do the reviews and follow the process methodologies and documentation.
  • Be a trusted technology partner for Treasury technology teams and Wells Fargo India stakeholders.
  • Report status to Engineering Manager.
