About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant for the Consumer Lending line of business within the Corporate Risk group and focused on auto lending risk.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting, and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics.
- Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, forecasting, reporting, and programming models.
- Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation in alignment with policy governance.
- Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals.
- Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff.
- Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common modeling strategies.
Required Qualifications, US:
- 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with forecasting delinquency and loss forecasting for a lead U.S. consumer lending institution.
- Working knowledge and proven experience in exploratory data analysis and process flow design and optimization.
- Excellent stakeholder management with experience in developing partnerships and collaborating with business and functional areas and working horizontally across an organization.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of an organization.
- Experience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets.
- Advanced knowledge in MS-Excel, Tableau, SAS, SQL, R or Python.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline.

- Willingness to comply with our hybrid work model; working from a Wells Fargo facility at least three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely two days a week.
