Wells Fargo is seeking a Growth Marketing Relationship Deepening Director to oversee a team responsible for developing, leading, and managing strategies to drive multi-product relationships and increased share of wallet across our customer base for the Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB).

This is a new role within the CSBB Growth Marketing organization, responsible for driving new customer and balance growth profitably via effectively leading a team of program managers, strategists, channel, and optimization experts. This role is critical in helping CSBB deliver on multi-product household and deposit growth targets via effective development and implementation of integrated, direct response marketing strategies across all key customer segments as well as identifying new business opportunities to drive increased scale and profitability while delivering customer-obsessed experiences.

This person must be highly influential leading a team directly as well as a cross-functional team, including both internally and externally, while also being able to partner effectively with other marketing leaders across CSBB and the other lines-of-business.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team of program managers, strategists, channel, and optimization experts to acquire new customers via digital channels

  • Review analytical results daily to deliver business results and customer-obsessed experiences

  • Build new, enhanced marketing strategies and capabilities across on-us and paid channels to increase our share of wallet across our existing customer portfolio

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development to a team of Growth Marketing program managers, strategists, channel, and optimization experts

  • Provide ongoing performance updates to CSBB CMO and other C-suite level executives

  • Collaborate with various partners, stakeholders, and senior leaders including within other LOBs and key functional areas (branch, segment strategy, etc.) to deliver and accelerate multi-product household and balance goals

  • Identify new business opportunities, including digital capabilities to increase scale and profitability across our deepening strategies

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Marketing

The Candidate

The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership and credibility with a proven ability to influence broadly across a matrixed organization, create engagement, and an urgent drive for results. This executive will be articulate and have strong interpersonal effectiveness with an impeccable reputation for integrity, accuracy, consistency, and business acumen.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms, or Social Media experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of Management experience

Desired Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience in leading marketing strategy with a focus on customer relationship deepening and balance growth

  • Is an expert in paid and owned digital channels

  • Strong analytical understanding and business acumen

  • Ability to attract, retain and develop top diverse talent

  • Strong presentation skills including with senior/C-suite level leadership

  • Must be able to successfully navigate a highly matrixed environment

  • Is highly collaborative and can effectively lead a cross-functional team including both internal and external (agency) partners

  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay Range

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00 Annual
