About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Loan Closing Representative. The role is responsible for assembling, preparing and reviewing commercial closing documents for loans / transactions; the initial boarding and funding of deals / transactions / facilities onto accounting systems of record. This may include in depth review of collateral, legal agreements and credit approvals to ensure final executed details are captured accurately and regulatory and company requirements are met.
In this role, you will:
- Support performance and overall effectiveness of team, as well as cross-group pre-close and post-close documents for the most complex commercial real estate loans
- Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within Commercial Loan Closing
- Perform or guide others on complex business and operational decisions that require planning, evaluation, and interpretation
- Review and prepare loan related documents
- Independently prioritize work and provide day-to-day-work leadership and mentorship to Commercial Loan Closing team
- Lead or contribute to implementation of new or revised processes and procedures that require coordination among various work groups
- Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to peers, colleagues and managers on the functions, policies, procedures and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Six ( 6 ) years experience in Commercial Loan Closing, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting
- Six ( 6 ) years relevant working experience in the field of Accounting / Finance preferably in General Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Loan Accounting, Bookkeeping
- Six ( 6 ) years experience in banking industry – Wholesale, Commercial
- Banking or Corporate Investment Banking or Shared Service organization
- Business and Accounting Skills (concept of Debit and Credit)
- Knowledge GAAP Accounting
- Sound risk management mindset and good understanding of compliance
- Ability to read banking contracts, deals and invoices, required
Job Expectations:
- Amenable to work on US schedule ( night shift ), Monday - Friday
- Amenable to work during PH holiday
- Amenable to work onsite
