The Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) group supports the Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking businesses as well as Payment Solutions, Capital Markets Services, Wholesale Digitization, and International Technology across the firm. This diverse portfolio of capabilities spans multiple technology disciplines and strategic innovations. CCIBT provides strategic, enterprise-wide technology capabilities and enabling services to our lines of business and management of the applications in terms of skills, stability, security, scalability, speed, and cost.

We are hiring a .NET Software Engineer to join the Wholesale Operations Technology organization. Our team provides development and support of the Reconciliation Platform applications that serve multiple lines of business including Wells Fargo Securities and Commercial Banking. The applications consist of vendor and internally developed .NET applications utilized to perform reconciliation activities. This position will play a role in assisting with the development of our modernization/transformation activities including application modernization, cloud migration, and test automation. This .NET Software Engineer will develop software solutions utilizing C#, .NET, and SQL Server technologies. 

Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes:

  • Contribute to modernization activities of the applications by refactoring existing code to utilize latest .NET framework and newer technologies such as Entity Framework. 
  • Assist the team with test automation activities against the applications. 
  • Partner with other team members to deliver on our strategic initiatives. 
  • Participate in gathering requirements and discussing solution design with users 


  • 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of MS SQL server experience
  • 2+ years of SQL experience
  • 2+ years of C#.NET experience
  • 1+ year of .NET Core experience


  • Ability to produce a copy of military orders including applicant
  • 2+ years of experience with HTML, Javascript, and/or CSS
  • Development experience with REACT
  • CICD experience with tools such as GitHub, TFS, Jenkins, and UDeploy
  • Development experience with cloud hosting platforms such as Azure, Google and Pivotal Cloud Foundry
  • Ability to consult at the highest technical level on design: planning, integration, implementation, scalability, and problem definition
  • Knowledge of Agile process of development
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
