In this role, you will:
Drive and strengthen the governance structure including quality of the content, for the second line, to ensure right risks are brought to the fore.
Drive and review India and Philippines Risk Committee material.
Look for opportunities to strengthen the India and Philippines Risk committee.
Support the second line in initiatives/projects by maintaining a balance between risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
Evaluate and implement the second line owned governance documents and set up/strengthen processes.
Connect with the stakeholders to ensure quality material for risk committees.
Report findings and develop business cases to influence executive management, management committee member or head of business on the need for controls to mitigate risk.
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Lead projects as assigned.
Mentor less experienced staff
Design and coordinate the development of training materials and coordinate or deliver training.
IRM Risk Reporting Sr lead Officer is an Individual Contributor role responsible for providing support for effective, timely and accurate risk reporting capabilities and drive governance. The role requires the incumbent to create and maintain risk dashboards, assessment reports, meeting materials and collaterals that form a critical part of risk management discipline.
Responsibilities:
Create, own, and maintain the IRM Oversight reporting and governance model for India & Philippines.
Support the governance head in driving India & Philippines Risk committee.
Collaborate with various verticals under IRM Oversight and bring together the macro IRM level view of top risks, issues, priorities, challenges, events, and regulatory interactions.
Develop strong rapport with the internal stakeholders with IRM, especially the Leadership Team
Create and maintain LE risk dashboards/updates for providing accurate and timely reporting of risks for I&P.
Design and Develop content for risk control forums, committees, and senior business meetings on behalf of IRM I&P.
Essential Qualifications:
University degree in Business or related discipline.
15+ years of overall experience; prior experience in governance, risk management or front-line controls function desirable.
Proven ability to create reporting and dashboards leveraged for business decision making and analysis.
Deep understanding and working knowledge of reporting to senior management.
Ability to synthesize data and create reports and dashboards that are suitable for purpose, from workshop level meetings to executive reporting.
