About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Independent Testing Manager. Independent Testing and Validation Team is seeking an Independent Testing Manager to support the CSBB & ER Independent Testing and Validation team. Specifically, this individual will lead the CSBB-ER Data Testing Team which provides key support to the data-driven testing approach and execution within IT&V. 

In this role, you will:

  • Manage a team of data testing resources responsible for supporting the CSBB and ER Testing & Validation Team while ensuring high quality outcomes are achieved and effectively communicated to management.
  • Manage process to provide review and credible challenge to work products completed by analytic resources on the team.
  • Partner with analytic and business resources to navigate large, complex technology environments.
  • Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders in the applicable line of business and IT&V functions.
  • Ensuring the timely completion of testing and validation activities, including the triage of potential concerns/findings/issues.
  • Establish benchmarks for timely tracking and completion.
  • Manage allocation of people.
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 2+ years of Leadership experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum experience of 15 years with at least 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in managing Risk analytics projects and data driven testing initiatives..
  • Proficient at considering a broad range of issues in making decisions and holds oneself accountable for delivering on commitments and renegotiating when needed. 
  • Technology experience with any of the following:  SQL, SAS, Toad, PowerShell, VBA, DAX, etc.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets.
  • Proficiently builds constructive and effective relationships, leads and challenges others to improve the organization. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and provide quick and well-thought through decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationship with key partners and senior management.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, with various levels of management, including senior leaders and executives.
  • Strong ability to retrieve data from various information systems.
