EMEA Senior Payroll Specialist

Our EMEA Wells Fargo payroll team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced EMEA Senior Payroll Specialist. In this full-time, permanent role, you'll handle complex tasks to support payroll preparation and distribution for our operations in France and Germany.

As an EMEA Senior Payroll Specialist, you'll manage vendor relationships and workflows to deliver accurate and timely payroll services to our team members across the region, ensuring compliance with local legal and regulatory standards.

In this role, you will:

  • Consult on activities requiring specialized expertise related to maintaining complete and accurate records of payroll information.

  • Contribute to providing work direction, coaching, and managing daily schedules.

  • Consult in payroll inquires, records, deductions, and procedures.

  • Improve and update operations by maintaining accurate records of payroll information.

  • Guide resolution of payroll regulatory risks by applying understanding of current and new industry practices.

  • Monitor evolving industry changes and communicating implications to team.

  • Review complex data with legal compliance and the impact it will have on resources.

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

  • Improve customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience of French and German Payroll and the respective legislations for these country's.

  • Experience in Payroll, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • Ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong Excel skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Good team working skills with ability to work independently.

  • General financial skills and knowledge, including basic understanding of balance sheet and budgeting.

  • Working knowledge of CloudPay or ADP Streamline Payroll

  • Working knowledge of Workday is preferred.

  • Experience of working through change, ideally implementing interfaces / automation of processes.

  • French and/or German language skills.

Job Expectations:

  • Wells Fargo operates a Hybrid working model combining office and home working. The requirement is a minimum of 3 days in the office.

German and/or French desired.
