Senior Business Product Analyst – Performance & Talent Management


About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Product Analyst – Performance and Talent Management to join the Talent Management and Learning product team.  Wells Fargo is an organization where we grow and develop a diverse workforce where employees want to build their careers, and this role will be an important part in developing and supporting the tools to help advance this important priority.

The Senior Business Execution Consultant will deliver compelling and integrated performance and talent management technology solutions and ensure alignment to Human Resources (HR) Product and Portfolio Management standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will have Workday experience and is a hands-on, proven contributor with effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills and knowledge of the project tasks required to deliver efficient and elegant solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with business partners to evaluate business requirements, plan initiatives, and participate in efficient development, delivery, and deployment activities. You will leverage product expertise and industry knowledge to discover what has real value to the business.
  • Lead the planning, support, and execution of configuration and testing activities.
  • Ensure cross-functional dependencies are understood, managed, and addressed to execute initiatives with quality and on-time.
  • Manage multiple stakeholder groups including global business teams, risk management, compliance, legal, data privacy stakeholders.
  • Assist in decomposing epics into effective user stories.
  • Maintain task status in JIRA or similar Agile management tool.
  • Produce effective documentation to capture and communicate business process and requirements in the format of business process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, data definition documents, decision trees, logic diagrams, requirements documents, and user experience flows.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of Performance and Talent Management business functions and products.
  • 4+ years of HR product /systems experience supporting Performance & Talent Management functions using Workday is strongly preferred.
  • Experience operating in an Agile environment and/or strong knowledge and understanding of Agile practices.
  • Experience interpreting business and technical needs and translating them into user stories.
  • Experience leading and facilitating workshops and discussions to meet client objectives and desired outcomes.
  • Ability to operate as part of cross-functional work streams to execute projects with quality and on-time.
  • Knowledge of HR business processes.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

Job Expectations:

Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

Must be based in one of the above locations or willing to relocate at your own expense.
