Senior Marketing Consultant - Commercial Banking Specialized Industries

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Marketing Consultant will support the development and execution of marketing initiatives and programs for Commercial Banking’s Specialized Industries group. The materials and programs will help develop awareness and consideration for products, capabilities and thought leadership working in alignment with business objectives. Marketing programs include thought leadership, advertising, pitch books, fact sheets, flyers, and more.  This role will collaborate across multiple industry segment groups and across the global enterprise team. The role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer of Wells Fargo Commercial Banking.

In this role, you will:

  • Develops and implements the strategic marketing and brand plan in conjunction with the Commercial Banking Specialized Industries executive business leaders to support business growth priorities, retaining client relationships, and increase market penetration. 
  • Acts as a champion for diversity and inclusion for client testimonials, channel mix, and media planning, cross enterprise communications.  
  • Develops targeted content strategy to elevate banker industry expertise with clients, prospects and stakeholders.
  • Develop and/or update various forms of marketing collateral and work closely with Marketing Leads to implement and have available in our content management system to  support business teams as they execute on priorities and deepen client relationships. Manage end-to-end updates and approvals to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Help track, analyze, and optimize marketing initiatives for optimum results.
  • Collaborate with various centers of excellence to drive efficiencies, strong outcomes, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo’s strategy/policies and business line objectives.
  • Participates in marketing and partner team business routines and offers recommendations to meet business goals.
  • Effectively communicates progress and mitigates risk issues.
  • Provides analytics on content performance and suggests recommendations for utilization and retirement of materials.
  • Builds relationships with partner groups and the business to better inform the creation and/or updating of marketing materials.
  • Coordinates proper approvals with legal, compliance, the business and brand partners.
  • Ensures adherence to Legal, Compliance and Privacy regulations and policies related to marketing and brand.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Marketing, E-business, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Marketing Technology or Healthcare banking, Program Management, or Collateral Development
  • 4+ years of B2B marketing program development experience.
  • 3+ years of content development.
  • 1 + years of Commercial Banking business expertise with emphasis on industry verticals such as technology, healthcare, commercial auto, sustainability
  • Strong strategic marketing expertise
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: proven client service expertise required in order to create, maintain, and enhance strong relationships across the enterprise.
  • Solid project management experience managing marketing, events, and thought leadership programs and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail and time management.
  • Strong program solving skills and ability to multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • A BS/BA degree or higher.
