About this role:

  • Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst.

In this role, you will:

  • Work as part of the Corporate Functions BDL team to support and build Data Dictionaries and Control catalogs for the applications.
  • Support and deliver metadata and data quality artifacts for the applications supporting the usecase.
  • Provide guidance on identification of core data elements including System of Record.
  • Work with application and technology team to complete the assigned application as per the standard artifacts.
  • Facilitate required meetings with delivery team to complete templates.
  • Facilitate and perform the steps needed to complete template.
  • Facilitate and support companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes.
  • Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues.
  • Perform necessary Quality Assurance testing on the data controls to ensure data risks and controls have been accurately and adequately identified.
  • Support data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality.
  • Adhere to data governance standards and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of Data Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 3+ years of quality assurance experience
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL, ETL or other data management, reporting and query tools.
  • 3+ years of experience with applying and executing, reviewing controls or assurance with business processes.
  • 3+ years of relationship management experience with business and technology partners
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing data quality rules.
  • 3+ years of experience in data lineage and mapping to create and deliver artifacts.
  • 3+ years change management, Process formulation, team leading, and Stakeholder management experience.
  • 3+ years of project management experience in support of process change within an organization.
  • Experience in JIRA and Confluence tools, tableau, Abinitio etc.
  • Experience working with technology teams, with a focus on metadata, data quality monitoring, domain management, and master / reference data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement initiatives in line with program roadmap objectives.
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical subject matter experts on system implementations.
  • Strong communication written and oral skills.
  • Presentation skills (PPTs or flow charts and Documentation)
  • Hands on person and eager to learn new process and areas.

Job Expectations:

  • Lead complex enterprise-wide programs and collaborates on strategic initiatives for data governance, data quality and metadata activities.
  • May act as a relationship manager for a line of business.
  • May design and deliver database architecture / design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, performing needs assessments, database definition & structure, documentation, long-range requirements, and operational guidelines.
