About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Network Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in the installation, support and maintenance of Cisco network infrastructure
- Provide technical support to end users regarding hardware and application issues
- Troubleshoot networks, systems and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational problems
- Integrate, maintain, and consolidate network services including but not limited to switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks and network security
- Develop and follow best practices and operational procedures
- Maintain documentation and comply with service administrative procedures, including change management and ticket updates
- Utilize security and regulatory policies to design and implement foolproof secured network solutions
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Administration, configuration management and operational maintenance of systems
- Monitor system performance and perform fine tuning as necessary vulnerability management, including operating systems and hardware assists in maintaining data integrity and security performs capacity analysis and forecasting for infrastructure resources Management Hardware/Software Lifecycle
- Provides support for Development, Test and Production environments Tests, Installs, maintains, and patches enterprise applications serve as knowledge and subject matter expert in areas of expertise (Voice, Video, Recording, or Unified Communications)
- Provides backup capabilities to other key roles in the organizations
- Participates in providing on-call, afterhours, weekend, and holiday support as required
Desired Qualifications:
- 6+ Call Manager and Unity administration
- Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: build/deploy processes, and release management
- Knowledge and understanding of Configuration Management Tools
- 2+ years of ServiceNow experience
- Knowledge and understanding of technology infrastructure: data center, network, storage, and compute domains
- 2+ years of virtualization technologies experience
- Knowledge and understanding of lifecycle management, including implementation, maintenance, patching, health checks, capacity planning, and decommissioning
- Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and disaster recovery procedures/solutions
- IT Infrastructure Library Certification (ITIL)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office 365
Job Expectations:
- The candidate will be responsible for vulnerability, drift, patch, and lifecycle management and lab management tasks for the Starfish application.
- The team member will serve as an SME for the application and support system configurations and administrative changes.
- The candidate will support standard build configurations, including partitions, CSS, and phone button templates.
- The candidate will also provide production support for the application, including problem and incident management and system integration with CUCM, CUC, etc.
- The candidate will also be heavily engaged in Cisco product suite drift remediation and assist the current WFIP drift team member with faster remediation of identified drift items.
