Finance Administrator - Part Time (4 days)

We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our team in Frankfurt.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with vendors to ensure seamless documentation processes, playing a pivotal role in the efficiency of our operations. Your main responsibilities will extend to managing tax forms and processing invoices and supporting general office administration duties.

The expectation for this role will be 3 days in the office and 1 day working from home and requires fluent German and English.


In this role, you will:

  • Work with vendors to ensure necessary documentation is completed
  • Manage, ensure and update tax forms for processing invoices with accounts payable
  • Monitor finance inbox for incoming invoices and ensuring all information is accurate before internal submission
  • Monitor the submission of invoices for payment
  • Download invoices paid but not received from IRISweb & vendor website
  • Initiate escalations for overdue invoices to avoid debt collection and dunning action at a local court
  • Process local invoices
  • Create weekly & monthly paid list management reports


Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Administrative Support, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Administrative/Finance background an advantage
  • Fluency in German
  • Works well within a team
  • Intuitive, fast learner
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with a team structure
  • Good problem-solving skill
  • Good time management & organisational skills
  • Basic knowledge of accounts receivable/accounts payables accounting including travel expenses
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Reliable, conscientious, structured way of working
