Department Overview:
The QFC Recordkeeping (RK) Operations team is responsible monitoring, remediating, and upon request submit the relevant Part 148 or Part 371 data sets (128 fields across 8 data tables) to the Regulatory. The P&SD QFC Recordkeeping Team is aligned to the QFC RK Operations Team and provides the support for business analysis, subject matter expertise, UAT coordination, and documentation related to specific projects and regulatory mandated changes, including but not limited to strategic exceptions reporting and root cause detection, error reduction, data controls and reconciliation reporting enhancements, automation of manual processes and static data, as well as Business Driven Enhancements (BDEs) requested by the QFC RK Operations team and other related tasks to enable the delivery model for Wells Fargo that would help us service our customers faster. The support includes Business Analysis, Agile participation, UAT co-ordination.
About the Role:
This position will focus on delivering the change portfolio for Product & Strategic Delivery, QFC Recordkeeping I&P. There will be 2 portfolios in focus: the role will focus on the I&P QFC Recordkeeping Ops team and identify & execute the change portfolio to reduce risk and improve service; additionally, the role will support onshore Product & Strategic Delivery Team in delivery of their change projects.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to partner & collaborate with stakeholders located both locally & globally in achieving shared business objectives & goals.
- Understand data flows from ingestion to output for covered applications.
- Maintain routines to track progress against published project deliverable timelines.
- Leverage relationships with Operations and Technology to schedule change delivery.
- Support Onshore P&SD to facilitate routine initiative update calls.
- Ability to work in shifts and be flexible in shift timings.
- Coordination and owning up the scheduled UAT releases.
- Assist with documentation of changes, as applicable.
- Generate and produce meaningful reports, including weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Communicating issues identified and delivering reports in a timely manner to recipients.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
- 10 to 12 years of Capital Market experience.
- Graduate degree or higher / MBA (Preferred)
- Should have hands on experience in any Regulatory Reporting in investment banking space.
- Candidate should have extensive experience in requirements gathering, Creating Test Cases, Coordinating and performing UAT.
- Strong reconciliation reporting, data analysis, data mapping and metrics reporting experience.
- Candidate should have excellent experience in driving end to end initiatives.
- The ability to communicate effectively with superiors and colleagues is essential.
- Should have Derivative experience.
- Should have collateral management and Collateral reporting experience.
- Custodian/safekeeping and Data Recon/Analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience at a Strategy Consulting firm.
- Good to have Middle office exp and knowledge on QFC Recordkeeping regulation.
- Substantial experience in Project Management Life Cycle.
- Knowledge in Agile/SDLC Methodologies.
- Experience working in international environment.
