Job Description
TRDR Resiliency Remediation team establishes consistent process, procedures and controls for consistent identification, validation, risk-based response & remediation and escalation channels for resiliency gaps across Wells Fargo Technology .This role is critical to the TRDR Remediation function to support key governance activities, control execution assurance and management escalation. Additionally, this role will provide crucial role in fulfilling the control requirement towards the regulatory submissions pertaining to Cyber and Data Resiliency Program (ERP-12). This is a crucial role in fulfilling the CDR gaps including DCRTC, No-RST, Cyber Exercises and Clean rebuild gaps, providing governance, validating remediation and closing comments and reporting. Additionally, this role contributes to stakeholder reach out i.e., TRL, Tech Resiliency community, CTO Risk Committee reporting and management escalation. The role will support around the body of work around performing Technology Continuity and Resilience Risk gap assessment(s), produce current state assessment of gaps and partner in orchestrating remediation activities across the Technology Teams. Role will be responsible to build the remediation assessment methodology, identify gaps and participate in solution discussions and monitor remediation activities for timely completion. The position holder will also partner in governing Third-Party Technology Service Providers.
In this role, you will:
- The role requires developing and maintaining strong relationships with business and technology resiliency stakeholders.
- Meet with key stakeholders regularly and provide consistent and comprehensive status of the third-party resilience risk and escalate gaps identified.
- The role will act as Resilience Risk identification and lead discussions around identified risks and monitor the overall resilience landscape of Wells Fargo Technology.
- The position holder will monitor and manage potential negative impacts resilience risks for the overall Technology Continuity and Resilience Program.
- The role will monitor remediation action plans and escalate any known weakness in the overall resilience landscape within the Wells Fargo Technology division.
- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within business and contribute to large-scale, cross-functional planning related to mitigation of current and emerging business risk issues and concerns
- Assess, analyze, and design moderately complex controls, protocols, and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment, including ensuring effective planning for sustainability, ongoing control adherence, reporting, measurement, technology impacts, and monitoring
- Independently make decisions and resolve moderately complex issues while leveraging solid understanding of the business’s functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; lead peers and key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to address current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance or support in interpreting, developing, and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
- Partner with peers and the business in interactions with external parties to support appropriateness and timeliness of response, and effectiveness of communications and materials
Required Qualification
- 6+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 6+ years of Business Continuity Management Experience
- 3+ years of Information Technology Experience
- 3+ years of Banking Industry Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Third-Party Risk Management, Governance, and Reporting
- Ability to effectively communicate with Senior Leadership
Desired Qualifications
- SharePoint management and integration experience.
- Project management skills
- Ability to analyze and present data utilizing metrics and key risk indicators
- Certifications in the following areas is a plus Disaster Recovery DRI/CBCI
