About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer
In this role, you will:
Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact
Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area
Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies
Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls
Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
Lead Control Management project or virtual teams
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Understanding of Consumer Banking products and services Deposits,
Experience in Consumer, Small and Business Banking Payment Products experience, e.g., Debit Card, Zelle®, Bill Pay, ExpressSend, Digital Wires, Bank-to-bank Transfers, Direct Pay, and Mobile Check Deposit, etc.
RCSA experience guiding partners through re-affirmation process
Issues Management experience
Operational Risk Event (ORE) losses and near misses experience
Experience collaborating with partners during New Business Initiatives (NBI) and respective risk assessments
Strong collaboration and partnering skills
Experience educating partners on Change Management activities to keep up with new or revised policy requirements
Works with others successfully even when they have differing viewpoints
Ability to provide leadership to a matrixed organization environment
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pure in a dynamic and complex environment
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Ability to identify and evaluate trends, isolate root cause, and provide swift/thorough resolution
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Proactive in nature, proven ability to learn quickly, strong work ethic and high level of integrity
Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls
Checking and DDA, Home Loan, Servicing, Credit and Merchant Services, Personal Loans and Auto Loans.
