Lead Digital Product Manager - Frontend Platform

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a product manager focused on extending our platform administration capabilities.  This individual will join a team of technical product managers building out the next generation of digital platforms within CB/CIB Digital Capabilities.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of complex digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have impact across the enterprise with broad impact
  • Act as key participant in large-scale planning
  • Review and analyze complex digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area
  • Influence digital strategy for the business line requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
  • Make decisions in digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area requiring strong understanding of the business, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements
  • Lead a broad team of digital professionals to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Potentially lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • Problem Solving – documented ability to analyze complex or ambiguous problems, identify criteria for success and partner with a team of experts to deliver results.
  • Communication – demonstrated ability to comprehend vision and relate to multiple stakeholder audiences, including business and technology leadership.
  • Independence – must show a pattern of increasing independence, team footprint requires the ability to work locally but integrate and align global partners effectively.
  • Experience with business process design or analysis, process automation, or system documentation.
  • Emphasis on technical process documentation, tooling or strategy.
  • Experience leading efforts that require integration of multiple technology systems, operations, or customer service processes.
  • Previous product management experience with any of the following areas:
    • Web Technologies: UI frameworks, design systems, server topology, responsive design, and SaaS platforms.
    • Developer tools or experiences, APIs, or other technical products or solutions.
    • System support, administration or other technical business processes or tools.
  • Previous experience and knowledge with related 3rd party solutions such as React, Angular, Google Material, Tableau, Splunk, Google Analytics, , etc.


Job Expectations:

We’re looking for someone to lead:

  • The discovery, delivery, and support of platform administration features and experiences.
  • Analysis and documentation of platform administration processes – both existing and upcoming.
  • Efforts to standardize, collect and report on platform performance, health, and success measurements for socialization with leadership.

We’re looking for someone to partner:

  • Across the product team to understand the system architecture, processes and needs for platform administration.
  • Across the broader digital capabilities team to align on target state administration experiences and capabilities for maximum reuse and efficiency
  • Cross functionally with our technology & delivery partners to understand and drive the development of meaningful process enhancing and control capabilities to make our platform more successful.
