Principal Product Manager | Client Insights AI Context Enablement

About this role:

Wells Fargo Commercial Bank’s AI and Data group is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and delivery of an AI-powered sales enablement platform. This role sits at the intersection of data, AI, and product, defining a vision and roadmap to deliver trusted, explainable, and high-impact insights to Sales teams. This is a rapidly evolving space requiring a leader who can translate emerging capabilities in AI, data, and advanced analytics into scalable, governed, and context-aware platforms that drive measurable business outcomes.


In this role, you will:

  • Define and lead the product strategy and roadmap for a Commercial Banking Sales AI orchestration platform within the Client Insights–CRM product area, driving measurable sales productivity gains
  • Build and scale an enterprise Context Engine/AI OS, launching an MVP that powers Client Insights use cases and delivers persistent, context-aware intelligence across client interactions
  • Establish a reusable AI platform foundation adopted across ≥3 priority sales workflows, reducing duplication through shared services and capabilities
  • Partner with Data Science, Engineering, and Data Platform teams to productionize AI/ML capabilities and enable AI at scale with high-quality, governed data
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Technology, Architecture, Risk, Compliance, and Sales to deliver scalable, compliant solutions and achieve trusted AI adoption
  • Influence senior leadership and external partners as a recognized authority in AI platform strategy and execution, ensuring solutions meet defined quality, governance, and compliance standards


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading platform product strategy, preferably in AI, Data, and CRM (MS Dynamics)
  • Expertise in data management and data platform principles, including governance, metadata, lineage, quality, and secure data access design
  • Strong grasp of knowledge and context layer design
  • Experience applying data science principles within products, including experimentation, model evaluation, and outcome-based measurement
  • Demonstrated ability to build platforms (not just features) that enable reuse, extensibility, and ecosystem growth
  • Strong understanding of AI OS / agentic architecture patterns, including orchestration frameworks, tool integration, evaluation systems, and AI operations
  • Ability to influence across executive stakeholders and drive alignment in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Familiarity with Commercial Banking

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
