Our APAC Markets Division is composed of dedicated Sales and Trading teams, catering to institutional and corporate clients in the region. Specializing in Fixed Income products, such as FX, Rates, Credit, and Mortgages, we offer a comprehensive learning experience.
During the 10-week program starting in early June, 2024, you'll have the opportunity to choose between Sales and Trading. Regardless of your choice, you'll gain exposure to both roles throughout the program.
Immerse yourself in our business, culture, and collaborative approach as we work together to deliver solutions for our clients. The program offers a blend of structured activities, including classroom training and networking opportunities, to enhance your professional development.
Upon joining, you'll be assigned to a 'home' team with a dedicated manager. Additionally, you'll have a supportive 'buddy' to guide you throughout your time at Wells Fargo.
Sales or Trading intern responsibilities
As a Sales or Trading Intern, your responsibilities may include:
- Shadowing salespeople and traders on a day-to-day basis
- Participating in client calls and meetings
- Receiving on-the-job training on client onboarding, product knowledge, trade negotiation, and related systems
- Monitoring market trends and generating trade ideas
- Conducting analyses to identify market trends
- Leading sales or trading projects
