What will you do?
Your responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:
- Participating in the development, design, and execution of business priorities
- Developing presentations and other documents for senior management independently and in partnership with other employees
- Analyzing data to develop an innovative way to bring Public Affairs’ mission to life and to measure your plan’s success
- Providing production support or serving as a liaison to business partners
- Enhancing business performance of brand and communication strategies to drive engagement
- Driving awareness, education, and engagement across the enterprise on climate, the focus on a low-carbon economy, management of climate-related risks, and incorporating a sustainability mindset across the company

Program structure and desired qualifications include:
- Summer internship for juniors. Program length is 10 weeks
- Major in a field of study relevant to Communications, Public Relations, Journalism and Media Studies, Business, Marketing, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental Science, Economics, or related majors
- Strategic, “outside the box” thinking and the ability and interest to ramp up on unfamiliar topics quickly and effectively
What does my future look like?
Following the internship, successful interns may have the opportunity to join the team as part of the Public Affairs Talent Development Program. You will spend 12 months on structured assignments aligned to a particular line of business.

Communications & Marketing delivers strategic counsel and engaging content to build brand favorability while protecting and enhancing Wells Fargo’s reputation and culture.
Philanthropy & Community Impact leads the development of strategic initiatives and corporate commitments to drive positive, innovative social impact, and enhance Wells Fargo’s reputation in local communities.
Sustainability leads the development of strategic initiatives and corporate commitments on sustainability, monitors critical environmental and social issues on behalf of the company, produces ESG-related disclosures and reports and enhances Wells Fargo’s reputation as a leader in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance.
