About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to be primarily responsible for business level reporting across all of Multifamily Capital (MFC), a line of business within Commercial Real Estate.  The reports vary in complexity from loan level profitability, to maturing loan monitoring, to daily quote logs.  This position will serve as the primary contact for all reporting needs for the Head of MFC.  The position may also help with strategizing, planning and executing a variety of programs, services and initiatives that are larger in scope and complexity, on behalf of Commercial Real Estate. In this role, you will:

  • Be the primary contact for creating and distributing business level reports for the Head of MFC and business teams

  • Liaise with business teams to gather information to be used for business reporting and/or to update systems that are provisioning points for data

  • Work with Head of MFC to hone data used for reporting and to develop and enhance existing reports

  • Build and automate reports in Excel to assess business performance

  • Ensure data accuracy for data used for reporting

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics

  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work

  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations

  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables

  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business

  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business

  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management

  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation, and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Operations or Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of banking or finance in commercial real estate lending and underwriting

  • Ability to manage complex data and reporting needs, create dashboards, develop trending reporting, and coordinate data sources at different levels

  • Experience in a finance, strategy, accounting, or related analytical-focused role within the banking/commercial real estate industry

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience

  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

  • Ability to prepare and conduct management level presentations

  • Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce

  • Knowledge and understanding of Tableau

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work outside of the standard 40 hour work week
