Credit Risk Manager - Auto Lending Risk Zoot Team

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Credit Risk Manager to help transform Auto originations into a more highly automated, innovative originations space. Auto is migrating from an internal, aged decisioning system to Zoot as well as incorporating alternative data sources into decisioning.   Join the Auto Lending Risk Zoot team supporting the design and execution of system quality assurance for the Zoot decision engine.

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for defining and establishing processes, templates, and standards related to systems testing
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Automate test procedures, cases, and research new tools, technologies, and processes to improve quality assurance
  • Lead testing team supporting Zoot projects; assess testing needs for system changes; and recommend design changes based on findings
  • Design and execute pre and post implementation testing on the decision logic/attribute calculations within the Zoot system to ensure solution aligns to the Business Requirements
  • Support project management methodologies in the software development lifecycle through the review and signoff on project documentation
  • Understand and challenge end-to-end processes to identify opportunities to improve them, driving greater risk management effectiveness and improving how Wells Fargo operates
  • Collaborate with project and business partners to define clear, actionable requirements that properly reflect the project goals
  • Interact with vendors, external industry participants, and regulatory agencies.

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience drafting use cases and test scripts
  • 2+ years of experience coaching and developing a team
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: automation and data automation
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good project management skills  
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional area
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • JIRA experience
  • Agile experience
  • SQL or SAS Experience
