The experienced individual will own the development and execution of an end-to-end process to efficiently manage contracts and Statements of Work with our Payment Network partners which includes Visa, Mastercard and American Express.  In this role, the Networks Agreements Lead will be working collaboratively with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders to support negotiations, execute agreements and implement the appropriate governance to ensure obligations are being tracked and met.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of Network related contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Partner with appropriate stakeholders to negotiate terms and pricing that extract maximum value for Wells Fargo.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point on Network contracts and SOWs.
  • Develop and implement appropriate governance structures and processes to ensure Network contract obligations are being met by both Wells Fargo and the Networks
  • Develop and foster cross-functional relationships with the Networks and internal stakeholders including, Sourcing, Legal, Compliance, business partners and functional group
  • Provide specialized Subject Matter Expertise to business lines on Network contract related matters.
  • Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to perform fund management and necessary financial reconciliation
  • Work closely with Third-Party Management team to drive, assess and manage Network performance scorecards

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 2+ years of experience managing contracts, developing Statements of Work or performing third-party management

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working with Card Issuers, Acquirers or Payment Networks

  • Expert knowledge of the Payment Networks and Payments ecosystem, including an understanding of key players, emerging risks and the evolving regulatory/compliance landscape

  • Proven leadership skills and a history working with cross-functional and diverse teams

  • Ability to promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork, willing to break-down functional silos to optimize results

  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and written/verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

NYC Pay Range: 115,900.00 - 206,100.00 USD Annual
