About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Senior Manager to join the Global Delivery Operations team that provides support for U.S. and international HR processes, and key stakeholders will predominantly be U.S. HR business partners. Reporting to the Global Delivery leader for HR India and the Philippines, this role requires experience in client / partner relations, HR service delivery (ideally of HR shared services or customer support services) and strong people leadership skills. This role will be the HRSD lead for the Philippines and will lead local payroll, background check verification, HR Tier 1 support, Talent Acquisition Service Delivery team and will be based in Manila.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate work complexity and risk in the Operations functional area
  • Work with more experienced management to develop and execute business strategies
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within the Operations functional area
  • Develop and implement business unit strategies
  • Ability to drive operational excellence based on improvement and performance metrics such as accuracy, timeliness etc
  • Provide expertise for technical, operational and processing functions related to business unit
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Operation management functional team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility across business lines or functional areas
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with the function or affected by its outcomes
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Operations
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of HR Operations/Shared services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an institute of repute
  • Extensive experience managing HR functions such as contact center management, recruitment, payroll and background verification. 
  • HR service delivery experience
  • Experienced operations manager having led a team of 100+
  • Highly collaborative 
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to lead in a complex matrix environment, encompassing a broad mix of cultures and client groups
  • Ability to manage time, balance multiple tasks and constantly work with changing priorities.
  • Strong drive for results with practical, result/outcome focus.
  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and driving results.
  • Confirmed self-motivation, analytical, problem-solving skills and initiative to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Confirmed successful experience including effective development, coaching, and mentoring of individuals/teams and/or direct reports.
  • Demonstrated success managing teams supporting US processes 
  • Proven success building and maintaining strong credible relationships
  • Strong networking and collaborations skills with demonstrated success in change management
