About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Solutions Manager with an area of focus on Data Science Relations and Advocacy.

In this role, you will help with the execution of the Data Science Relations programs to engage with our entire data science community and empower the user experience across all AI platforms to develop and deliver end-to-end AI solutions for all lines of businesses.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify, strategize, and execute the Data Science Relations initiatives across all model development CoEs
  • Be an advocate for data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers to help improve the user experience across our AI ecosystem
  • Engage, communicate, and build relationships with the data science teams to understand their pain points and use cases
  • Own the user experience by getting into the heart of user issues to prioritize and provide feedback to internal partners to expand capabilities and improve the data science experience
  • Build and execute on a multi-channel content strategy to drive the adoption of existing and novel solutions
  • Create and update best practice content, guides, tutorials, and technical documentation to educate and empower the user community
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve and achieve goals
  • Participate in office hours and regular discussions on platform needs with capabilities teams to ensure the right suite of tools and processes are provisioned for line of business data scientists and data analysts.
  • Assist in the onboarding of data scientists and data engineers on to the AI Platforms when needed
  • Participate in the data ingestion activities for a given functional group or line of business when needed
  • Assist in the creation of regular metrics around user engagement, issues/resolutions, and the overall user experience.
  • Required Qualifications, US:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, such as data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, applied mathematics, or depth of coursework in these areas
  • 4+ years of Artificial Intelligence experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, such as data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, applied mathematics, or depth of coursework in these areas
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence Solutions, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Be customer-focused with laser focus on business outcomes
  • Experience in driving the adoption of AI and analytics solutions within large matrixed organization
  • Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex topics in an easy-to-digest format
  • Experience in facilitating and delivering training and walkthrough sessions
  • Proactive, responsive, and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with all stakeholders, including line of business, product team, and technology
  • Working knowledge and understanding of AI, machine learning, and public cloud-based AI
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning model development lifecycles
  • Knowledge and understanding of big data, data lake environments, and different distribution systems such as HortonWorks and MapR
  • Familiarity with some of these data science platforms: Domino Data Labs, Databricks, H2O.ai, Datakitchen, Dataiku, DataRobot
  • Experience with AI industry trends and business applications and demonstrated passion to learn new tools
  • Experience with the data governance ecosystems within AI models
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
  • Certifications in data science, AI/ML, or Big data
  • Certifications in public cloud services (preferably GCP)
  • Detail-oriented, results driven, and can navigate in a quickly changing and high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Leadership experience
