Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer in Technology as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) within the Commercial Banking and Lending Technology (CBLT) team who will demonstrate a high proficiency in Java application development, REACTJS and Oracle PL/SQL scripting to design, develop, implement, and support custom applications. This Senior Engineer will support and assist in the analysis and design of complex technical solutions including maintaining and modifying new and existing application modules, creating unit tests, creating necessary design documentation, participating in code review, researching production issues, test support issues in an Agile environment.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years Java development with Spring framework experience

  • 4+ years of REACTJS experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of AngularJS

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Oracle PL/SQL scripting

  • Strong experience using the development ecosystem of applications including JIRA, ALM, GitHub, uDeploy, Jenkins, Artifactory, SVN

  • Database query design and optimization

  • Knowledge and understanding of application deployment model: design, implementation, and maintenance to multiple environments

  • Good analytical & debugging skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Knowledge and understanding of multiple source code version control systems in working with branches, tags and labels

  • Ability to take part in and conduct code reviews

  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies

  • Ability to drive the requirements process with both technical and business partners 

  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations

  • Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs

  • Financial services experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
