About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Strategy Verification Control Management Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • Support strategic review and credible challenge of a front-line unit
  • Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area
  • Provide risk management consulting to support project teams
  • Maintain current records and challenge artifacts to evidence project completion
  • Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Issue Management or regulatory examination experience
  • Risk and regulatory compliance experience
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills; Ability to organize information in a clear manner
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking, finance and risk domain
  • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills
  • Build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department
  • Interact and lead complex discussions comfortably with higher levels of management
