This individual contributor will partner with, and develop analytic solutions for, one or more businesses within the Consumer space. You will be a data and analytics expert who will identify, measure and monitor risks arising in the front-line environment. Your work will be used to demonstrate that the controls over key business processes are working as intended, mitigate known risks, and identify emerging risks. Your expertise will contribute to a strong analytical foundation that consolidates information across interactions, customers, team members and products. This foundation will, in turn, lead to the development of key metrics that will enhance accountability for risk management.
In this role, you will be part of an immediate team of Analytic Consultants who also develop analytic solutions to enhance the business Control environment. You will have demonstrated experience in developing analytics in a large, distributed, diverse organization. Ideal applications of analytics include monitoring of business processes, surveillance of transaction level-data, and ongoing assessments of controls. To be successful, you will have a proven track record of researching and developing actionable analytics to inform, influence, and drive business outcomes. Your ability to cultivate relationships with stakeholders and the credibility you build will be key factors in your effectiveness. You will differentiate yourself with articulate communication, demonstrated leadership capability, and effective interpersonal interactions
Total Work Experience - 8+ years
Relevant Work Experience: 6+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both
In this role, you will:
• Conduct analysis to support implementation of a consistent, data-driven monitoring & surveillance program covering Sales Practice Risk, Conduct Risk, Compliance Risk, and Operational Risk arising in the front-line operations. Participate and offer input in process reviews; collaborate with Control Executive, Business Excellence, functional groups, and business operations partners to define metrics, ensure robust data sourcing, build a data visualization layer, and facilitate ongoing reviews.
• Work closely with product/process team owners, issue remediation, control partners and risk leaders to define problem statements, gather information, identify source data, validate findings and provide recommendations for reporting that may influence strategy, product offering or procedures
• Consult with a various business groups to identify their data and reporting needs, design solutions that are intuitive, comprehensive and sustainable using advanced reporting, data management and data analysis techniques
• Establish effective work streams that allow the team to support discovery and ad hoc requests in a responsive yet governed manner
• Leverage business knowledge and analytic expertise to quantify emerging risks, develop mitigation approaches and implement solutions.

Required Qualifications, International:
- Experience in Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Expert SQL skills with experience across different data environments (Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo)
• Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts to non-experts
- Experience working in a very nimble data environment while assigned to highly complex and unique projects with escalated delivery timelines

• Preferred experience with the following systems and related data environments which support the Consumer-facing businesses: AFS, ITOP, CRS, CARS, ACAPS, EXS, SHAW, MSP, CORE, MIDE, SVP (for internal applicants)
• Knowledge of Wells Fargo Community Bank products, sales processes, data and systems (for internal applicants)
• Demonstrated experience Teradata, Oracle and Hadoop environments
