Wells Fargo is seeking a Control Management Specialist...
In this role, you will:
-Participate in mitigating current and emerging risk exposures associated with the activities and operations of the assigned business group, and identify opportunity for process improvements within the scope of defined business control responsibilities
-Review and analyze basic business challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives
-Develop and implement risk monitoring, risk reporting processes, and controls while evaluating and reporting results where necessary
-Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing Control Management functional area expertise
-Provide support in the interpretation of policy, guidelines, and governance programs as front line liaison to Independent Risk Management area
-Collaborate and consult with Control Management team and key stakeholders, including internal customers
-4 to 6 years years of overall work experience with minimum of 2-3 years in the Operational Risk Management, Quality, Audit or Compliance Discipline area at a Global In-House Center and / or a BPO Services Industry
-Knowledge of the operational risk framework and disciplines primarily in the banking industry and its related operations
-Ability to undertake assigned risk assessments/projects
-Demonstrate problem solving and basic analytical skills. Along with eye for detail and comprehension skills
-Being able to work as individual contributor and apply rule based judgement
-Demonstrate strong negotiation, communication & presentation skills
-Knowledge in MS Office
-Perform quality review of the Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) output and ensure consistency in implementation across all business groups
-Provide consultative support to Business Control Management and other partners in the requirements of the risk program
-Partner, support and liaise closely with the Business Control Management and Control Program team to implement all key operational risk components/ programs
-Assist in ensuring new risk programs are rolled-out to all required stakeholders and also help in creating required awareness across the business process supported
-Support development and maintenance of risk program reporting to stakeholders for effective tracking and reporting of risk items and issues across the business groups
-Assist in process review and facilitation of identification & assessment of risk and control in collaboration with business groups.
- Must be amenable to work onsite and follow mid shift schedule
