In this role, you will:
- Manage a team of 10-12 BCMs
- Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area
- Responsible to ensure the team is proactively identifying risks and following all the control program requirements (i.e. RCSA execution, trigger events, issues, OREs, incidents, ERIA, initiative adherence, Audit engagements, IT&V, EBCE, etc) timely and with quality
- Become the risk and control subject matter expertise on the service models assigned and underlying L4 processes in their business vertical
- Provide risk management consulting to the business partner and broader team to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
- Supports the BCMs in IT&V and Audit reviews to help ensure the conversations stay on track
- Monitor assigned portfolio of control activities and identify any team knowledge gaps and conduct hands on and timely coaching with actionable plans
- Escalate early and often
Required Qualifications :
- 12+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

- Embed the management of risk into daily business routines
- Be committed and accountable – live up to our commitments (deadlines) to our customers, employees, shareholders, and regulators
- Complete trainings 2 weeks prior to deadline
Management Responsibilities: Talent, Leadership & Culture
- Successfully manage a team of 10-12 BCMs ensuring active recruiting and filling of open roles with a DE&I focus
- Monitor assigned portfolio of control activities and identify any team knowledge gaps and conduct hands on and timely coaching with actionable plans; improvement in scorecard metrics
- Mentor to the all roles on the team and exudes role model behaviors
- Foster environment where employees trust they can bring forward concerns
- Participate in one volunteer opportunity and encourage the team to do so
- Develop 2 and 3 down management and staff capabilities to establish/enhance the risk and control environment for emerging and in-flight business/industry/regulatory changes for Climate Change, Digitization of lending, cash management and investing lifecycle; control automation; information security & technology shifts. Key Measures: Capture risk drivers, metrics, and thresholds in ERIA and Risk Measurement Program (RMP) program and tools.
