In this role, you will:

  • Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations.
  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business.
  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners.

About the Role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant, to be based in Bangalore or Hyderabad. Role will report locally to the Head of Business Continuity & Incident Management for Wells Fargo (India & Philippines).

This is a business partner facing role where the individual is expected to collaborate with teams Stateside, to ensure that year on year Resiliency Plans remain relevant and robust. The role requires a high performer with an eye for detail who can deliver quality outcomes within SLAs.


  • This role will perform quality assurance activities within the enterprise resiliency program to ensure quality and compliance with organizational controls, policies, and procedures.
  • The primary area of focus will be managing intake reviews related to multiple intake processes to ensure the content meets the standards of the EBR Continuous Improvement requirements and communicating with EBR Continuous Improvement peers, requesters, and senior leaders to ensure compliance and understanding of the intake expectations.
  • This role will also manage several control-based activities within EBR governance. procedure documentation and evidence for controls within Enterprise Business Resiliency to identify, document, validate and track remediation of findings. A sense of urgency and attention to detail is necessary.
  • This person must have the ability to schedule and execute all required control activities within the required SLA deadlines, following all steps precisely and providing all evidence based on the cadence and requirements of each individual control.
  • Responsibilities that extend beyond quality assurance could include process validation and testing and liaising with partner resiliency programs; Control, Independent Risk Management, and Audit; program support to drive continuous improvement and program maturity using subject matter expertise.
  • We are looking for a team player with the ability to identify risks to deadlines and raise awareness in a timely manner to the appropriate parties, who will also bring enthusiasm to the team with new potential solutions, understanding that not all ideas can be incorporated, but still willing to give solutions and look at short term wins when possible.
  • This person will provide best in class customer support, proactively collaborates across the organization, and possesses strong influencing skills.
  • The individual is agile, proficient in navigating complex organizations and thrives in rapid, large-scale changes to business processes and organizational structure.
  • This person will have the ability to create job aids and assist with the creation of user documentation /presentations/ communications for large groups across varying organizational levels.
  • The individual will be expected to independently manage a volume of reviews and multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines. All service level agreements must be met by following documented procedures/checklists with precision.
  • A considerable amount of time will be spent evaluating data for accuracy through report extracts, excel spreadsheets, and source system data therefore 100% attention to detail is needed.
  • A successful candidate in this role makes decisions with accuracy, is self-motivated, organized, process driven, excels in managing their work in a changing environment, and does what’s right.
  • A background in business resiliency and continuity concepts is a must.
  • Candidate must have strong and proficient communication skills and excel at articulating complex concepts and findings in a clear and succinct manner; verbal and written.
  • Timings will require at least half day overlap with USA, a regular workday will be from 1.30pm IST – 10.30pm IST, subject to earlier or later hours at times.
  • Candidate must be based out of Wells Fargo India location and will be required to work in the office as per organization’s In Office Adherence / Return to Office (RTO) which is currently at a minimum of 3 days per week.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate / Postgraduate with total 10-14 years' experience and 8-10 years in Business Continuity or Resiliency Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams Wells Fargo BRDR Certification (For internal candidates – this is preferred)

Desired Qualifications:

Working knowledge of and experience with resiliency tools and reporting. Experience working with Operational Resiliency System (ORS) and BCP Central is a plus. CBCI or CBCP industry certification from The BCI, UK or DRII, USA
