The Wells Fargo Experience Design (XD) team designs experiences that people love and confidently engage to improve their financial lives. We work closely with Technology and Product Management to ensure we are problem-driven (versus solution) and customer-first. While we have individual expertise across product design, research, content strategy, and design operations, we all operate as empowered leaders with strong design rationale. As a team, we care about each other yet believe in radical candor, want to have fun while we work, and are obsessed with what’s most important to our 30+ million customers and incorporating their voices into every decision!

The Experience Design Senior lead product designer ,you’ll design experiences that will inspire and demonstrate what's possible, across our products, contributing to overall strategy, planning, product vision, and frameworks  in partnership with Product Management and Engineering Leadership to deliver the end-to-end experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute customer experience solutions for online applications and websites

  • Lead teams of customer experience professionals during deployment of interaction design strategies

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of the most complex and significant challenges across multiple areas of Content Design or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, broad-reaching, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and resolution

  • Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding large-scale enterprise-wide Content Design strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operations

  • Strategically lead all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise; serve as an expert advisor to Content Design leadership; represent the company externally in industry networking and trade and technical events

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 7+ years of Website or Application Design experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Hands on experience designing UX and UI in Figma  

  • Comfort presenting to all levels of seniority

  • 7+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio of end-to-end projects

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to shape and drive work independently

  • Exceptional visual design skills showcasing your ability to solve for complex problems in a delightful way

  • Ability to consistently articulate a strong design rationale; storytelling skills that compel stakeholders

Pay Range

$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
