Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineering Senior Manager.

  • Broad experience across multiple areas of technology including one or more of architecture, infrastructure and application development with strong understanding of leading edge as well as legacy and distributed technologies to effectively manage the complex and diverse applications portfolio
  • Highly effective decision-making/critical thinking/problem solving skills with a collaborative and results oriented leadership style
  • Demonstrated ability to consult with key business partners and translate complex, technical concepts so that they are clearly understood along with the ability to effectively partner and influence at the senior executive level
  • Demonstrated experience motivating and influencing groups or individuals across organizational boundaries
  • Proven experience in establishing a vision, developing the strategy to support the vision, gaining consensus across key functional leadership through effective communication, and driving action towards the vision through the effective management of goals and objectives
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) with ability to communicate at multiple levels ranging from technologists to senior managers and executive leadership
  • Lead cross-divisional data and reporting efforts driven by the larger contact center transformation program
  • Work with technology to establish new big data cloud environments that meet business objectives, requirements and outcomes
  • Oversee a call center operations center of excellence in system data, reporting and analytics that supports a number of major operational businesses as well as downstream functions which utilize call center data
  • Manage and develop teams of individual contributors or managers in roles with moderate complexity and risk executing against data product strategy and roadmaps to drive enablement and capabilities across platforms and utilities; engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with or affected by its outcomes
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for data product roadmaps and data enablement solutions that impact multiple data domains and platforms, ensuring compliance with data governance and standards
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of data product team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables that drive the enablement of data availability for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting; interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of data product responsibility
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior managers, business, risk partners, and technical professionals within Enterprise Data Management and Technology
  • Provide recommendations on best practices, methods, and tools to support and design innovative data products enabling data availability for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting
  • Act as a catalyst to socialize capabilities, features, use case studies, and other relevant artifacts to advance the value of data enablement and productization across the enterprise
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in aligned department or business group
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5-8 years of technology leadership experience in the managing large data warehouse applications across data ingestion, data processing, Data Analytics and business intelligence solution.
  • 7+ years of executive leadership experience managing a complex technology organization of large scale, individual contributors and vendor resources across multiple global locations
  • 5+ years of experience in handling cloud data warehouse ( preferable GCP).
  • Strong planning (finance, resource, strategy, business), decision making and prioritization skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • 15+ years’ experience leading large global teams.  Experience coaching and mentoring managers, and individual contributors. Experience managing complex, diverse technology portfolios.
  • 6+ years of contact center  technology experience
  • 5+ years of contact center specific data, reporting, or analytics experience
  • 5+ years of experience implementing, managing, or utilizing big data environments in cloud platform like Google cloud platform using Big Query, Big Table, Cloud Data Flow, Cloud data store, Google Pub-sub/Kafka, Looker.
  • 5+ years of experience leading data through call center software implementations or upgrades (Genesys, Avaya, NICE, Verint, Five9, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience implementing, managing, and using standard BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, etc.) with big data environments
  • Experience in working in an automated DevOp’s / DevSecOp’s agile environment
  • Demonstrated ability to create and communicate vision and strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and partnerships across a diverse set of IT Leaders and business partners
  • Experience managing vendor relationship and aligning vendor and Wells Fargo roadmaps
  • Broad understanding of application and infrastructure architecture domains
  • Proven track record influencing large technology transformations. Ideal
  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML capabilities, including the leverage of large data sets using NO SQL, Hadoop and analytical engines.
  • In depth technical knowledge or one or more programming languages such as Java, Angular, JQuery, HTML, JavaScript, Node JS, React JS, or others
  • Experience working in Contact center, integrating applications with products like Genesys/Nice/Nuance etc would be an advantage.
