About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Consultant to support Credit Cards Marketing Insights team with analysis and reporting of Primary Research & survey data across Wells Fargo Credit Card businesses. 


In this role, you will:

  • Works individually or with a team on project deliverables

  • Run survey data cross-tabs using available tools - SPSS, SAS and any cross-tabbing tool (preferably Research Q)

  • Run analyses on survey/behavior data, including regressions, text analytics and other multi-variate techniques like cluster, random forest etc. using Python, SAS, SPSS etc.

  • Draw insights on analyzed data and present the same in PowerPoint or any other equivalent reporting tool with a compelling storyline and in a visually appealing manner

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement strategies for developing and utilizing technical and analytic resources, to enable initiatives and projects that predict, improve, support, and measure business success

  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and maintain necessary processes, controls, and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity

  • Working with the team to create market research reports to display strong story-boarding skills, especially focused on Market Research, Customer Experience, Loyalty and NPS research

  • Exhibit industry expertise by attending knowledge sessions, database trainings and seminars

  • Ready to work across geographies (India and USA) and be available during evening/early night hours for overlap with our US partners

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree.

  • 4+ years in primary market research and/or consulting analyzing customer survey/behavior data.

  • Able to deliver high quality work and value adds

  • Must have sound knowledge of marketing data analysis, and its synthesis with non-survey data to generate meaningful insights

  • Strong experience in running and analyzing survey data and creating banner plans, using SPSS or any similar tool

  • Knowledge of visualization & documentation tools – MS PowerPoint, MS Word. Knowledge of MS PowerBI, Tableau desirable

  • Strong communication and writing skills with high proficiency in grammar and articulation of insights. Strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent execution ability, detail-oriented, well-organized, committed, and results orientated


Desired Qualifications:

  • Sound knowledge of marketing frameworks

  • Working knowledge of SAS, Python and exposure to analyzing unstructured data (customer transactional data, complaints etc.) and integrate it with structured data

  • Text Analytics using R or Python or SPSS Modeler

  • Exposure to the Financial Services (Banking) sector
