About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Accounting.


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years’ experience with Qualified CA/ CA final OR 5 years’ Strong experience in Accounting with MBA qualification.
  • Chartered Accountant along with any suitable certification
  • Big 4 organization experience will be an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge about accounting, and good knowledge on controls, audit framework etc.
  • Strong in Microsoft Excel with basic knowledge of Power BI
  • Should be a go getter with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Should possess ability to learn and adapt quickly

Job Expectations:

  • Responsible for review  of all Financial transactions as per the finance team guidelines
  • Review of the financial trackers, exception reports, governance issues etc in finance area
  • Ensure compliance of accounting standards, company policies and other applicable regulations
  • Preparation of schedules for financial statements,  gathering data for the schedules
  • Work on the Fixed asset accounting related work including capitalization of fixed assets ,  removal of fixed assets, physical verification of fixed assets etc.
  • Provide support on review of the regulatory filings and whether they are in line with the supporting's available.  Updating of the tool for compliances.
  • Proactively inform the management on statutory changes and impact of the same both from a financial and a regulatory perspective
  • Work on process changes to make them compliant with the regulatory changes
  • Work on General ledger reconciliation process and timely completion of the recons.  
  • Support on Risk Control Framework to review the Risk Control Self Assessments on a routine basis and ensure compliance. 
  • Responsible for Financial reporting matters and be a financial advisor providing financial expertise,
  • Supervision and review of Standard operating procedures in Finance and ensuring compliance to the same.
  • Provide consultation to more experienced leadership for financial accounting related matters
  • Perform complex activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts, developing financial statements and regulatory reports
  • Gather and review financial data for financial and regulatory reports
  • Review data from the general ledger, unit reports and various financial systems to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations and certifications
  • Analyze projects relating to financial accounting procedures, methods or systems
  • Perform ongoing financial control functions in accordance with internal controls policies
  • Provide functional advice and training to individuals
  • Provide support for compliance and risk management requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with stakeholders throughout the enterprise
