Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant – CIB Ops, Product & Strategic Delivery

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant for the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Operations group within Wholesale Operations. This role will be aligned to the Product and Strategic Delivery group and will be responsible for leading OTC Derivatives Collateral Management change initiatives and directing the work of a matrixed team of individual contributors to support and drive strategic initiatives.


In this role, you will:

  • The development and execution of strategic roadmaps within CIB Operations Collateral Management 
  • Working with Operations, Technology, and Business Management to assess multiple regulatory obligations, Operational process improvements, Technology upgrades, and business expansion opportunities to create a unified plan for delivery across the change portfolio 
  • Complete detailed Business Analysis, including review and analysis of existing processes / architecture, business requirements gathering and documentation 
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy/planning to ensure high quality delivery 
  • Ownership for successful product delivery, including development and execution of key project milestones in order to hit delivery targets 
  • Holding stakeholder groups accountable for deliverables and taking appropriate escalation steps when needed 
  • Drive working group discussions, set action items and key business decisions in order to execute on project deliverables and timelines 
  • Direction of matrixed resources with the ability to influence support partners across multiple areas


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading large scale Capital Markets / Financial Services initiatives
  • Subject matter knowledge regarding OTC Derivatives and Collateral Management 
  • Highly motivated individual with ability to drive results through leadership 
  • Ability to identify strategic opportunities and make specific recommendations 
  • Ability to identify inefficient and/or ineffective processes and provide solution option 
  • Aptitude to structure multiple tasks, work in an organized manner under pressure and time constraints, and delegate work effectively 
  • Flexibility to manage multiple distinct workstreams simultaneously 
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop relationships and work with multiple departments (e.g. Sales & Trading, Middle/Back Office, Finance, Compliance, Technology, Collateral, Reconciliations)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to adapt message to senior leadership
