About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product management Manager.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of product management contributors
  • Engage stakeholders and partners associated with the function
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for product management for a less complex product or service
  • Strategize growth opportunities
  • Ensure programs adhere to compliance and privacy regulations and policies
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding overall business strategy to meet business objectives
  • Create business plans, develop business requirements, direct product design and implementation
  • Recommend product enhancements, support sales and marketing
  • Interpret and develop product enhancements recommending product pricing, distribution strategies, and performance measurements
  • Collaborate and consult with product managers, analysts, and multiple level managers
  • Interact directly with vendors
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Product Management
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
  • Manage a team that performs complex activities and provides support for Risk Modeling controls and technology platforms.
  • Support efforts related to Information Security compliance. Develop process narratives and desktop procedures ensuring compliance within key policy and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with modeling teams to support audit engagements, ensuring robust control documentation and timely and appropriate communication with testing teams.
  • Enhance, execute, and document model implementation and execution control processes, collecting evidence of process controls and interacting directly with stakeholders.
  • Help design and implement enhancements for infrastructure solutions supporting model development and execution.
  • Identify opportunities and deliver process improvements, standardization, rationalization, and automation.
  • Support ongoing efforts focused on standardization and automation of controls.
  • Lead your team to accomplish goals, resolving the most complex problems or inquires.
  • Provide expertise regarding team strategy, operations, and building organizational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers.
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
  • Take the lead of scrum as the product owner
  • Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Define product vision, road map and growth opportunities
  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Task assignment and prioritization for employees
  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • Overall experience 12+ years in similar role 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field
  • Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization.
  • Strong ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas.
  • Knowledge and understanding of issue identification and resolution as well as platform and model change management processes.
  • Flexibility with changing priorities
  • 10+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, product owner, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning
  • NOutstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with cloud (MS Azure, AWS, Google)
  • Experience working with a Hadoop platform
  • Experience leading migration to cloud
  • Programing skills and use of software packages such as Python, SQL
  • Familiarity with SAS
  • Sound understanding of statistical model lifecycle.
  • Process documentation experience
  • Experience of working across one or more geographic territories or regions especially with teams in the US.
  • Technology experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business partners, project managers, and examiners
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
