About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Loan Administration Specialist to support our Tax and Escrow Analysis team. This senior individual will partner and make independent decisions on matters that impact financial risk, recommend business strategies and resolve escalations. They may participate on large cross-group projects and are responsible for workflow coordination/production with domestic, vendor and offshore operations. In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within the group and contribute to large scale planning related to deliverables

  • Identify, develop and maintain operational procedures and controls while providing recommendations

  • Lead or participate in internal and external audits for CMBS loans, portfolio held loans, third party lending and agency loans

  • Manage exception loan reporting and a portfolio of loans that are escrowed and non-escrowed for commercial property taxes

  • Respond timely to customers, borrowers, vendor, internal team members

  • Resolve complaints independently escalated from customers

  • Facilitate weekly vendor calls with senior management

  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet loan requests area, projects, process deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the processing policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals, lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced staff

  • Work closely with Asset Management on approvals and collaborate with Taxing Authorities for updated status of taxes

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years commercial real estate experience and commercial property tax experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong customer service sills

  • Leadership skills

  • Accounting experience or accounting background

  • Strong research skills, ability to make decisions, and develop strategic recommendations on operational data

  • Ability to communicate with auditors and attend all associated meetings/calls/requests

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

Pay Range

  • $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 USD Annual

This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Pay Range

$76,300.00 - $135,700.00
