About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer


In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Job Expectations:

  • Handle the development and delivery of Very critical highly visible initiatives
  • Enhancing existing Python and .Net applications in collaboration with various technical teams
  • Involve in the development process
  • Analyze the impacts on different modules
  • involved thoroughly before making any code changes.
  • Analyze and suggest best tool and Frameworks appropriate for the use case
  • Fixing Critical Production issues impacting multiple modules within the SLA time
  • Working in scrum team to develop features of the product in collaboration with the US
  • teams
  • Always delivers high quality output
  • Instill best practices of software development and documentation technics within the team
  • Be inclined towards innovation and continuous improvement
  • Conducts peer code reviews and design reviews
  • Lead Junior team members in the technical aspects

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Addition Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent with min of 10+ years of experience in Python and .NET frameworks.
  • 10+ Years of working Experience is Python, Flask
  • 6+ Years of working experience in different .Net related technologies such as .Net core, C#, ReactJS, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, Entity Framework
  • 4+ years of working experience in ReactJS
  • 4+ Years of working experience with TFS, GITHUB, Cloud, CI/CD integration.
  • 10+ Years of working experience in SQL Server
  • 5+ Years of working experience in creating Web services/ Web APIs.
  • Working experience in PowerBi and Tableau dashboards creation.
  • Working experience is creating unit test methods.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of .NET and Python development techniques.
  • Experience with object-oriented design
  • Excellent Team Management skills should have experience in handing a team.
  • Experience with different project development life cycle methodologies such as agile/scrum to iterate quickly on product changes, developing user stories and working through backlogs   
  • Experience writing unit and integration test cases.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Development experience on Cloud platforms like PCF, GCP / Kubernetes
  • Strong hands on with the Strangler pattern, API gateway Pattern, Aggregation pattern, CQRS, Event sourcing, Saga and Circuit breaker patterns
  • Should have working knowledge of Test Automation
  • Secure SDLC process
  • Exposure to Machine Learning and Deep Learning Models.
