About the Role

                The ideal candidate will be a team player and a self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced job, thrives on problem solving, and is committed to delivering seamless product availability to large enterprises. This includes Batch monitoring, Incident Management, vulnerability remediation support and adopting SRE practices to improve the efficiency of the system.

Responsibilities

·         Solid Knowledge on the Production support processes and should have worked  on the 12/16*7 Production support models

·         This role is responsible for Problem and incident management, Batch monitoring and System Monitoring

·         SQL, PL/SQL knowledge and troubleshooting the batch failures to meet the SLA’s

·         Expertise on Batch monitoring tools like Autosys, and knowledge on UNIX scripting

·         Provide resources and processes to respond to any Prod related issue in an efficient, effective and expedited manner

·         Hands on experience on the below Production Support Activities

·         Work on all Production issues (response/analysis/coordination)

·         RCA and Preventative Actions ownership

·         EACO coordination and communication

·         Partner Coordination

·         Production related CR coordination (e.g. patching)

·         Monitoring & Alarming

·         Ad-Hoc Technology maintenance requests

·         Develop and maintenance of Production support documentation (e.g. run books), procedures and troubleshooting guides

·         Maintain and publish Production release calendar

·         Infrastructure coordination

·         Adopt/adhere/improve the process towards effective tracking of support parameters like, tickets/CRs inventory, TAT, RCA, resource planning etc for optimal and effective team execution

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Essential Qualifications:

·         Core skills – 8 to 12 years Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Big Data, Data as a Service, Oracle, MongoDB database, SRE knowledge.

·         Strong in Database and ETL processes

·         Working in production support activities and has good skills in automation using Selenium/Shell scripting/Perl scripting

·         Good knowledge on KAFKA and BigData

·         Experience with Performance Tuning, Scaling, Security, Resiliency Best Practices

·         Hands on experience in delivering high value projects in Kanban methodology using preferably JIRA tool.

·         Scripting & Automated Testing, Continuous Integration and deployment (Jenkins)

·         Good business communication skills in English

·         Experience of working across one or more geographic territories or regions

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
