As a member of our team, you'll be involved in the management of all our business-facing IT systems for payments, overseeing application upgrades, spearheading vulnerability remediation efforts, and developing leading edge automation and observability tools. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the stability, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of our technology solutions. Acting as a liaison for the line of business, you'll provide valuable support for daily inquiries, problem and incident management, and project delivery. Additionally, you'll collaborate with peers to recommend solutions for technical issues and drive automation initiatives to enhance platform efficiency.
The Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) group supports the Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking businesses as well as Payment Solutions, Capital Markets Services, Wholesale Digitization, and International Technology across the firm. This diverse portfolio of capabilities spans multiple technology disciplines and strategic innovations. CCIBT provides strategic, enterprise-wide technology capabilities and enabling services to our lines of business and management of the applications in terms of skills, stability, security, scalability, speed, and cost.

In this role, you will:
Manage the globally distributed team of technologists who support the CCIB payments and coverage applications
Liaise with partners in software engineering, testing, product management and business operations teams to support the best outcomes in our ongoing development of payments IT systems
Focus on identifying and delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities
Build support for resiliency strategies with business and technology leaders
Guide the development of actionable roadmaps and plans
Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement
Provide oversight to IT security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or by third party providers
Partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
Develop strategies for hiring, developing, and retaining diverse technical talent
Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation
Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies, or industry forums
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
Extensive technology experience in production management or similar roles in top tier financial services institutions.
Significant Technology Strategic Leadership experience in the processing of electronic payments, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Proven leadership experience in similarly sized organizations
In-depth knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) and industry best practices such as ITIL, DevSecOps and SRE
In-depth knowledge of payments processing, payments networks and the associated technology applications and global regulations
In-depth knowledge of client coverage concepts and applications
Desired Qualifications:
Global payments systems, including EPE, Wires, ACH, SWIFT, Commercial Card and Treasury Management
Customer Care Technology, including Cornerstone, CAO applications, Customer Information & Relationship Management Systems
A distributed team of 120 Platform staff, supporting clients and business globally
Job Expectations:
The support, execution of change, identification of risk and management of resiliency for the applications in scope
Improvements in deployment, observability, automation, resiliency, issue identification
For payments: development of business activity monitoring and coordination with Payments Command Center and Operations Production Support
Management to closure of self-identified and regulatory actions for the functional areas
