About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Talent & Performance Management Consultant to enable all talent management and learning processes for the Diverse Segments, Representation & Inclusion (DSRI) organization. The individual will be responsible for partnering with the DSRI leadership to implement talent management processes including talent planning, succession planning and organizational design. The individual will also translate the people strategy into learning solutions for the organization and for the Company. The individual will partner across the Company’s leadership and will need to navigate a complex matrix. This role is an internal client management role and will need to curate strong partnerships across HR. In addition, this role will enable Diversity, Equity and Inclusion learning by identifying needs, creating solutions and implementing these solutions for all employees Company-wide.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex initiatives, designing, and implementing programs for performance management, leadership development, individual staff assessment, and succession planning including those that are cross functional
Review and analyze complex, larger scale, team operational engagement strategies, talent systems, mentoring programs, succession planning, and technical challenges
Leverages data and analytics to inform talent management and learning strategies; able to forecast future expenses and vendor management costs
Make decisions in complex and multi faceted situations requiring a sound understanding of Talent Management policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new talent and performance initiatives
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to experienced managers to source for difficult to fill positions and forecast hiring needs to achieve goals, lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Enables mobility within the organization by development talent and creating pipelines of talent
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Talent Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Learning and Talent Management experience leading large-scale projects
Financial services industry experience, preferably with client facing businesses
Reporting experience, analytics experience or a combination of both
Demonstrated ability to navigate a complex HR environment in a matrixed organization and ability to drive process change and improvement to enable the client while managing risk
Excellent communication (oral and written) with ability to communicate and influence executives, senior leaders, Line of Business stakeholders, other internal partners
Proven ability to facilitate and drive prioritization discussions
Proven ability to be innovative and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs
Strong time management skills including the ability to handle multiple deliverables concurrently
Professional presentation skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 5 to 10%
Hybrid work schedule with a minimum 3 days in office, 2 days remote
Willingness to work on-site in Phoenix or Chandler, AZ; San Antonio or Dallas, TX; Wes Des Moines, IA; Minneapolis, MN or Charlotte, NC
