About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Foundational Automation (FA) team within the Infrastructure Technology Services organization. This is a great opportunity to join a team which provides system support for technical issues and initiatives related to large-scale applications, systems, databases and other technical products and services. AIOps and infrastructure automation will enable self-service via a micro-service architecture strategy for the application teams we support in each line of business. This position will be responsible for providing production support for new and existing applications and working with ancillary technologies to support application integration and data integrity. This senior engineer should be familiar with agile technologies and online collaboration tools to allow engagement with our geographically distributed team and be passionate about providing production support for automation and working with new technologies to expose capabilities to our application team partners.
In this role, you will:
Lead or participate in managing all installed systems, applications and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems availability
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of application production support experience in a 24/7 environment monitoring systems and troubleshooting inefficiencies and errors
3+ years of experience supporting and maintaining RESTful Application Program Interface (API)
2+ years of scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or PL-SQL
2+ years of Agile experience
Desired Qualifications:
1+ year of JIRA experience
Experience using the team collaboration software Confluence
Experience with MS Azure cloud and Google cloud computing technologies
Experience with Kubernetes and Splunk technologies
Experience with Mongo DB
Experience with AI automation such as Amelia or IPSoft
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends, holidays and on call
